Activities Conducted Under Sant Sohirobanath Ambiye Chair from 2013 to 2021

  Year: 2015-16

  • Professor Bhalchandra Nemade was appointed for the year.
  • A seminar on sant Sahitya was conducted.

  Year: 2016-17

  • Prof Somnath Komarpant was appointed as chair Professor from 15^th June, 2016.
  • A study tour to the birthplace and other places related to Sant Sohirobanath Ambiye was conducted by Dept of Marathi on 09^th December 2016.
  • A national seminar on “Sanskruti- Abhays ani Marathi Sahitya” was held in association with Dept of Marathi from 23^rd & 24^th March 2017

  Year: 2017-18

  • Prof V.D Sawant & Prof Tadkodkar was appointed as Visiting Professor for academic year 2017-18.
  • National seminar on “Indian Drama in Commencement of 2000 ERA” was held in association with Dept of Marathi of Govt college of Art & Commerce and science of Quepem from 19^th to 20^th March 2018.

  Year: 2018-19

  • Prof. V.D Sawant taught two credit courses for MA-Marathi students from July to November 18 and November to April 2019.
  • Prof. Prof Tadkodkar taught four credit courses for MA-Marathi students from July to November 18 and November to April 2019.
  • National seminar on “Study of Folk Literature: Confront & way out” was held in association with Dept of Marathi on 21^st & 22^nd February 2018.

  • Department of Marathi had conducted Study tour in collaboration with D-VRPP to various places of Sant Ambiye on 14^th August 2018.
  • Department of Marathi habitrated by produced video documentation on Goan Marathi Writers in collaboration with D-VRPP from December 18 to February 19 in Seminar / Conference Hall.
  • Department of Marathi published book on “Indian Drama and Dramatist in The Beginning of three Thousand ERA”in collaboration with D-VRPP on February 2019 in Conference Hall.
  • Department of Marathi published book on “Study of Folk Literature: Confront & Way out” in collaboration with D-VRPP in February 2019 in Conference Hall.

  Year: 2019-20

  • Department of Marathi had conducted Study tour in collaboration with D-VRPP to various places of Sant Ambiye on 9^th August 2019.
  • Department of Marathi had organized Ghumat Arti Competition in collaboration with D-VRPP in Goa University on 29^th August 2019.
